By moving with the breath we are able to draw our attention inwards giving us time to reflect and release any physical or emotional blockages we are holding.
As we inhale we begin to fill our bodies up with new energy, a new ‘light’ and as we exhale we start to free our bodies and minds of anything we no longer need. We can leave the mat feeling grounded and present in our lives ready to take on the day.

Finca La Hoya del Peral in Southern Spain
I am delighted to invite you to another well-being retreat at the Finca La Hoya del Peral in Southern Spain.
The Finca is located in the Serrania de Ronda, 3km from the nearest whitewashed village of Gaucin.
La Hoya has a rare and rustic beauty, not only because it is nestled in a mature and lush garden of exotic plants and fruit trees but mainly because it is an oasis of tranquility surrounded by stunning views that run down to the coast and beyond. On a clear day, you can see the Rock of Gibraltar and the Pillar of Hercules on the Moroccan coastline.
At this meeting point at the tip of Europe and Northern Africa, it is impossible not to feel the energetic pull of these two continents.
Where better to step out of the busy pace and demands of our modern day lives and reconnect with nature and oneself by gently working and exercising the body with 2 daily yoga practices whilst simultaneously nourishing the mind with vivid new impressions, learning to appreciate a different rhythm of time and space by discovering the importance of deep relaxation.
I will be joined on the retreat by Vicky Cruz, a trained Gestalt Psychotherapist, working in private practice in Surrey and in the NHS. She incorporates the mind-body connection in her work and believes when the mind and body work together they can provide a powerful and effective package for well-being.
For those retreaters looking to take their retreat to a deeper level, talking therapy is available in 1-2-1 meetings both during and post-retreat.
Exercising the body can help focus the mind and soften the body of its defenses. This can allow for breakthroughs and personal growth to occur. 1-2-1 meetings are designed to facilitate this and are optional. We hope this retreat provides an environment of trust where participants feel safe to share themselves and explore new ways of being.
The Finca is a small working farmstead and is home to Vicky’s father, step-mother and their 3 dogs.

Accommodation, Cost, and Travel
Accommodation: The retreat will cater for 8-10 individuals.
All accommodation is shared in a rustic environment, either La Chozita (the wooden cabin) which sleeps 3; the main house which sleeps 4 (including a double room) and the yurt which sleeps 3. Booking is on a first come first served basis.
Cost: The cost of the retreat is £525 and includes airport transfers, 2 yoga sessions daily, talking therapy (if required), a specialist vegetarian chef sourcing local produce and accommodation.
A 50% deposit (non-refundable) is required to confirm your place.
Extras, such as daily massage, pedicure, and manicures will also be available.
Table tennis, badminton, swimming, star gazing and peace and quiet are on tap.
Travel: Flights are available from Gatwick to Gibraltar, running on Thursday morning and returning Monday evening. We recommend flying on Easyjet. Your transfer will be waiting for you on arrival at Gibraltar between 11.30am and midday. The return transfer will be leaving the Finca between
14th – 18th of June.
